Heart Shaped Blue Butterfly Necklace, Tiny Blue Morpho Heart Pendant

This small Blue Morpho heart pendant is so sweet.   It is made with a real blue butterfly wing placed between clear heart shaped glass domes.  It is tiny and elegant  It is set on an adjustable black suede necklace that measures btwn 16"-18".

The butterfly is purchased at a dried insect supplier who purchases cruelty free hand raised butterflies.   It has been cut to be smaller than it's natural form to approximately 1.75"x1", perfect for a child, youth or petite neckline. I soldered the wing smooth and added droplets of solder around the wing and put an oxidized gunmetal like patina. One side shows the outer tan or brown wing, depending on morpho species available.  Both sides can be worn to change the look so it is like having two pendants for the price of one.

Debra’s Divine Designs uses many recycled wings that collectors reject due to flaws or missing antennae and preserves them into beautiful wearable pieces of art that can be handed down for future generations to enjoy! Please allow for minor flaws or color variations.  I do my utmost to be sure each piece sent is of the highest standard possible.

To avoid discoloring or molding of your precious wing, please be sure not to get your butterfly wet and to wipe any oils from skin off of the glass and silver alloy, with a soft dry cotton cloth.
