British Butterfly Wing Earrings, Pieris brassicae Butterfly Earrings

These earrings are made with real repurposed butterfly wings of the species Pieris brassicae.  They are common in Britain and Scotland.  Commonly called the Large White. Set on surgical steel ear wires and accented with faceted crystal beads.

This specimen has been purchased from a licensed supplier in Ontario Canada.

Handcrafted by me in my London Ontario Canada studio. Though my pieces are watertight, they are not 100% waterproof so care should be taken to not allow these to get wet.
