Orange & White Butterfly Pendant, The Great Orange-Tip Butterfly

This pendant is so summery and colorful.  I made this necklace withbthe recycled wing of the great orange-tip nutterfly, Hebomoia glaucippe from the Indomalayn realm.  Set between glass showcasing both sides of the butterfly wing and soldered with jewelry grade silver non leaded alloy.  Set on an 18 inch sterling silver chain

I use many recycled wings that collectors reject due to flaws or missing antennae and preserves them into beautiful wearable pieces of art that can be handed down for future generations to enjoy! Please allow for minor flaws or color variations.  I do my utmost to be sure each piece sent is of the highest standard possible.

To avoid discoloring or molding of your precious wing, please be sure not to get your butterfly wet and to wipe any oils from skin off of the glass and silver alloy, with a soft dry cotton cloth.
